The Moon

This print utilises the artwork of Hugh Oakeley Arnold Forster’s 1891 book, “This World of Ours. An introduction to the study of geography … Illustrated”, which we found in the British Library online archives and re-contextualised as a tarot card.

The print was hand made in our London workshop using a combination of traditional block printing techniques and a modern laser engraver.

The print is A3 and is printed on handmade cotton rag paper. The paper is very thick at 320gsm and has a natural deckled edge.
